Apricot~Vanilla Bean Jam

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My husband's favorite jam, in a nutshell.
It might be your favorite, too.
Do you know how easy it is to take a pound or two of fresh organic fruit, and turn it into a jar of luscious jam?
Do you have sugar at home?
A heavy-bottomed shallow pan?
A stove?
Well, you're halfway there...
This is what the beginning of Apricot~Vanilla Bean Jam looks like.
"Goldstrike" Apricots, sugar, lemon juice and vanilla bean...macerating in a preserving bowl. Set it off to the side for an hour. Or put it in the fridge for a night or a week.
When you're ready to make jam, it will be waiting patiently for you.
 Jam on your terms, to fit YOUR schedule.
That's my recipe for success!
