Takin' a little break...

...from blogging, while I make a few changes. The new year just seems like a good time to give my website a fresh new look. It isn't obvious yet, but I'm laying the groundwork behind the scenes and preparing to reveal some changes soon.

Don't worry.......besides spending re-working my blog I'm still preserving, and I'm eager to share my latest projects with you.

Look for upcoming posts about pressure canning Albacore tuna in olive oil, a Cajun-style pickled green bean & carrot combo I can't resist, and another version of my pickled Seckel pears.

And I've done all this preserving in the first 8 days of January. Whoever thinks preserving is strictly a summertime thing needs to hang out with me in Seattle for a few days, any month of the year.
